A Listening program is designed for you...

After contacting Cluas you will be given an appointment for an initial assessment. During this assessment we will assess your listening profile, your auditory processing abilities and discuss personal history. After this, you will be shown where your program will take place and be introduced to the Cluas staff.

Using the information gathered at the initial assessment, a personal Tomatis program is designed for you by a Tomatis Consultant.

When your program starts, you will listen to music and voice recordings through specialised headphones. The properties of these recordings are being constantly modified by the Electronic Ear, which has been programmed according to your listening profile and the personal program that has been designed for you..

During your program you will be in a small group setting, guided by a Listening Therapist.

The Tomatis Listening program usually consists of three phases:

The first stage lasts for 15 days. There is a 2 hour session on each of these days.

The second stage begins 4 weeks after completion of the first stage. This phase lasts for 8 days - 2 hours each day.

The third stage begins 4 weeks after completion of the second phase. This stage lasts for 8 days - 2 hours each day.

Your progress and development will be constantly monitored and formally re-assessed at the beginning and end of each stage.
